Albert Mitsuo Kita, 77, of Hawi died Nov. 4 at North Hawaii Community Hospital. Born in North Kohala, he was a retired landscaper for Mauna Lani Resort, plantation worker for the former Kohala Plantation, member of Kohala Gospel of Salvation and U.S. Army and Army National Guard veteran. Lorraine Pabilona Midel, 85, of Hayward, Calif., formerly of Pepeekeo, died Oct. 28 in Hayward. Born in Pepeekeo, she was a homemaker and member of West Hayward Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses. Jacqueline Mitsue (Tamashiro) Regan, 83, of Las Vegas died Sept. 25. Born in Kapoho, she was a military spouse, U.S. Army veteran, homemaker and mother, and 1951 graduate of Pahoa High School.
